Frequently asked questions
How do I set up the retractable banner?
Place the cassette on a flat surface, connect the support pole, then slowly pull the banner up from the center of the top rail. Attach the top rail to the pole and make sure the banner stands straight.
We provide step-by-step video tutorials to guide you through the installation process.
Is this banner suitable for outdoor use?
Retractable banners are mainly recommended for indoor use.
They can be used outdoors for short-term displays in calm conditions, but we do not recommend using them in strong wind, rain or uneven ground. For long-term outdoor use, an outdoor banner or flag display is usually a better choice.
Does the banner come installed in the cassette?
Yes. The printed banner will be installed into the cassette before shipping.
When you receive it, you only need to pull up the banner, attach the support pole and place it in position.
How to make my retractable banner look most closely to my design file?
Please provide artwork in CMYK or Pantone Solid Coated colors. Since not all RGB colors can be accurately reproduced in CMYK printing, the final product may have slight color variations. We also offer detailed one-on-one guidance to help you prepare your artwork correctly.
What artwork file should I upload?
For best print quality, we recommend high-resolution files such as:
- AI
- EPS
- PSD
- High-resolution JPG or PNG
What is the difference between Vinyl and Polyester Fabric?
Vinyl is smooth, durable and great for bold graphics, logos, sale messages and general advertising.
Polyester Fabric has a softer textile feel and a more refined appearance, making it a good choice for indoor events, brand presentations and professional displays.
If you want a traditional banner look, choose Vinyl. If you prefer a softer, premium look, choose Polyester Fabric.
What size is most popular?
Choose 24" × 62" for small spaces or simple messages.
Choose 33" × 81" for most trade shows, stores, events and business displays.
Choose 47" × 81" if you want a larger visual impact or need more room for images, text or product information.
For most customers, 33" × 81" is the safest standard choice.
Can I see a proof before production?
Yes. We can provide a digital proof before production so you can review the layout, artwork placement and main details.
How do I avoid damaging the banner?
Pull the banner up slowly and evenly from the center. Avoid pulling too fast or at an angle, as this may create friction with the cassette and cause scratches, wrinkles or uneven rolling.
When retracting the banner, guide it back into the base gently instead of letting it snap back.
